It has become a tradition that every fall we’re trying to surprise you with our trademark end-of-the-year limited edition motorcycles.

This year our European colleagues from Ural Motorcycles GmbH came up with the idea of the Red October to commemorate either the 25th anniversary of the novel "The Hunt for the Red October" or the 92nd anniversary of the Red October Revolution (whichever comes first). They have been bold and courageous in choosing a color scheme, not usually associated with a classic motorcycle and sidecar design.

Red October ... Single wheel drive, 18” wheels and 3.89 final drive ratio, lower seating sidecar on the Retro sidecar frame - fastest Ural combination! Black trim against the dressy red paint scheme... available fall of 2009.

The hunt for Red October is now on!

Notes:

Following our established tradition of showing the bike in specification that you won't get - take a look at the pictures and read the comments carefully.

1. Tires. Unfortunately the luxurious Heidenaus that you see in the photos do not meet load rating require-
ments,so we'll have to stick with the Uralshina tires for US Red October variant.

2. Exhaust system. Again, have to follow the rules, the exhaust will be stock but with black ceramic coating. If
you really want the aftermarket pipes as shown on the photos, you'll have to get them from your dealer sepa-
rately.

3. The last but not the least - the color. We racked our brains trying to figure out how to properly deliver the color onto your screen. But no matter what we did, each monitor in our office showed a different color of red. So if you see a burgundy or even a purple Red October on your screen, remember it's actually red. The same red as our Tourist model if you saw one in person, but not exactly the same red as shown for the Tourist.
